Fellow Ozians...
Hello! My name is Peyton, and I'm new here. I am a total Wicked nerd, and I've been obsessed with it for about 2 years now. I saw Wicked in Chicago during spring break, and it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. On August 2nd I will be seeing it again in New York. Seeing it in Chicago was so surreal, and I'm sure seeing it on Bway will be an absolutly 'wonderful' experiance.

Has anyone here seen the current cast? (Eden, Kate, David, Carol, etc.)
Another question-I've heard that most of the cast doesn't leave the theatre between shows (matinee and evening)...Is this true? (I'm seeing the matinee show) I really wanted to stand outside the stage door this time, so I was just wandering if it will be worth it. Thanks in advance! =)

I saw Eden Espinosa, Carol Kane, Derrick Williams, Jenna Leigh Green, and Robb Sapp back in March, and I loved Eden, Derrick, Jenna, and Robb, but was not a fan of Carol. Eden is so amazing that she makes the trip to the show worth it just for her, though, seriously.

I saw the current cast two weeks ago and they were FANTASTIC. I didn't get to see Eden and Kate together (I saw Saycon and Kate, then Eden and the understudy for the standby, Heather Spore). Both pairs of witches were wonderful.

As far as the stage door, they're less likely to come out between the matinee and the evening show, but you can always come back to the stage door after the late show and get your autographs then.

Yah, I've heard about the not coming out between shows thing...that's why I asked if it would be worth my time. The coming back thing is a good idea. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!

I'm going on Wednesday! :D I will definitely be posting a review of how the cast was! And I want to try stage door too, so I'll let you know how it goes.

I saw all but Carol in June and I really didn't care for Kate. But to each his own and all that. And I adore Eden but one thing that really drives me crazy is when she flies in Defying Gravity and she says "Its me" as she goes up. Every other Elphaba I've heard sings that part. But she sort of yells it but she holds out the word "me" as if she were singing it and I don't know, it just sounds really awkward to me. Blabbing now. I'm done. But I hope you have fun! I'm sure the show will be great. And good luck with the stage door.

I saw Eden and Megan if that counts. They were fantastic. I know a lot of people don't liek Carole Shelley, but I actually did. Eh, to each their own.

i saw the current cast last month. i enjoyed everyone and eden really suprised me. i had never seen it before but i had the image of shoshana in my head and didn't think i'd like eden. but like i said, i was plesantly suprised. i went to a matinee and only derrik williams came out so i came back later on in the week after a evening show. i got there early and ended up having to wait around for about an hour but there are plenty of things to do nearby until the shows over.
